DURAND DIAMOND
Sometimes the diamond at Durand, MI can be pretty dull - other times there are many trains to choose from. July 6, 2011 was one of those days at Durand where the diamond was hopping. The BNSF EMD unit has the local over from Flint and is on the main headed westbound. The IC GE unit is coming out of the yard and will back to it's train before heading on east. The local will back through the wye leading to the Holly Sub and then head on into the yard. RE Holmes digital photo.
