Canadian National GP-40-2LW 9543
This somewhat battered CN GP-40-2LW was trying to hustle about 95 empty coal hoppers westbound. At the time this shot was made they had been showing up in Michigan on secondary assignments after being very very rare sightings here for several years. A lot of these type locomotives are no longer on the CN roster. This one was shot about two miles east of Morrice, MI on 4/4/10. Order # 24693.
