One of the Canadian Pacific overhead trains running on the former C&O, eastbound at Lansing, MI early spring 2003.

I have managed to amass over 11,000 locomotive pictures since 1974.  And several hundred revenue rolling stock photos too.  To review what is available go to the catalog gateway then pick one of the pages to see what's available.

Currently, I offer computer prints as described here:

High quality small prints -- These prints are on 4 x 6 inch glossy finish heavy weight premium grade paper stock at 1440 dpi.  The printer used to produce these prints uses higher grade ink.  These prints are less light sensitive and when properly displayed behind glass out of direct sunlight, should last as long as regular photographs.  The image's have a nominal 5.5 inch width with a floating height depending on how the original scan was cropped.  These prints are priced at $1.25 each.

Postage and handling costs -- Nothing is free these days and that includes getting your order to you, each order has a base handling charge of $2.50. 

Ordering prints is quite easy.  Browse the catalog pages to see what is available, copy the order numbers for each print you would like into an e-mail, send the information to me, I will begin preparing your order.  In the meantime, write a check or get a money order, payable to Railhead Photography and send that to me.   Please include your name and mailing address.  If you'd like, you can skip the e-mail.  The U.S. Mail address is:  Railhead Photography, PO Box 12304, Lansing, MI 48901-2304.  Shipments to Michigan addresses must include 6% Michigan State Sales Tax.
